And introducing...Connor Douglass!!!

Our good friends, Brandie and Mark, welcomed their baby boy Connor Douglass on November 24th. He was a very healthy 10lbs, 5 ounces (wow!) and his proud parents have nicknamed him "The Tank." Some photos from the hospital:
Looking adorable the day after his birth!!
Proud Grandma
Another proud grandma!
We went to visit them this week on his two week birthday and Max was very interested in all things baby...
...or maybe just the toy in Miss Brandie's hand...oh well.
The adorable Santa-in-training
And, posing as Rudolf...
It would sure be nice if this Grandma loved this little guy, huh??
Welcome to the world, Connor Douglass! We have been anxiously awaiting your arrival!

Max's Second Snow...in Houston!!!

Ah, what a difference a year makes...in 2008, Max "saw" his first snow on December 10th.
This year, it snowed on December 4th and Max was watching it (mostly) out the window all day long!
You can see Max's favorite birthday present, his swingset, in the back ground (thank you Uncle Jeff, Grandma Betty, & Grandpa Len!).
Nikko (aka the dog who will not put a paw outside if it is even sprinkling) apparently does not have any issue with freezing precipitation...
And, Brewster only takes issue with it...because it sticks.
Let it Snow!!!

Thank You, Aunt Julie!!

Aunt Julie made the most amazing rag quilt for Max's birthday. Aunt Julie took up sewing relatively recently, but you would never know it from this fabulous piece!! It is so soft and so cute, Max can play on it all day--however, there is another member of our household which has also grown very attached to the beautiful blanket...
THANK YOU FOR THE QUILT, AUNT JULIE!!!
Love, Max & Nikko
